Account: your email address and the username you choose (handled by our authentication provider, Supabase).
Location: when you open the map or check in, the app uses your device location to show nearby temples and to verify that a check-in happened on site. Location is used only while you are using the app (when-in-use).
Camera & photos: when you create a check-in, the photo you capture or select is uploaded to your account.
Content you create: check-ins, ratings and reviews you post. Saved (wishlisted) temples are stored only on your device.
To run core features: showing nearby temples, verifying and displaying your check-ins, collecting stamps, and showing reviews. We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use third-party advertising trackers.
Your data is stored with Supabase. You can permanently delete your account and all associated data at any time from Settings → Delete account.
The app is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect their data.

SaChal helps you discover Korean temples, check in on site, and share your pilgrimage. You are responsible for the content you post and for respecting each temple’s rules and visiting hours.
You keep ownership of photos and reviews you post, and you grant the app permission to display them within the service. Do not post unlawful, infringing, or abusive content.
SaChal has zero tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users. You can report content or block a user from any review or feed post. Reported content is reviewed within 24 hours and removed if it violates these terms, and abusive users are removed from the service.
Temple details and some photographs are drawn from public sources including Wikimedia Commons, used under their respective licenses. Visiting hours and fees may change — confirm with the temple before you travel.
The app is provided “as is” without warranties. We are not liable for inaccuracies in temple information or for issues arising from your visit.
